Day 4

Today I am finding all the ways to be motivated. My current motivation is that my slacks make a swish swish noise. I don't remember them making a swish swish noise prior to covid. I'm assuming the distance between my thighs has lessened and thus more thigh is rubbing creating a louder swish swish noise. I didn't realize I had a noise until I got to work though. Unfortunately today I'm also doing interviews and it's my job to get the person from point A to point B in all my swish swish glory. It's driving me insane! Not that you couldn't have guessed that.

I guess the biggest motivation for me making this change is I don't like the way I look. I don't like how my clothes fit. I want to look better, feel better, and be better. Meeting people for the first time in person today has definitely reminded me why I started this journey. At least a couple times a week I find some reason why I want to make a change. Today its the first impressions of people I'm interviewing. Yesterday it was being reminded that some people in my life are totally shallow Hals. They still treat me well and they are nice but I know how they think. I don't want to be thought of like that. I don't want to swish swish. I don't want my deodorant to give up after the 3rd lap around work taking people to meeting rooms.

I don't want perfection. I don't expect to be a size 6. I just want to be a little bit better than I was the day before whether it be the number on the scale, my health, my confidence, or my swish factor.

I agree with you 100%. Except that I am looking at bodybuilding to gain the perfect look I want. I have kinda became a health nut recently. I had been focused on myself more than anything else.

I agree with you! I tell myself that eating more healthfully helped me reduce my mental health medication, which was a medication that made me dizzy. Since I’m not dizzy anymore, I can work in the yard no problem!
