Feeling pretty good this morning. SO happy to see the hard work finally paying off. Now if I could just keep this momentum going...

I know my doctor is going to be shocked! I was 217 the last time I saw her, so it will be good. I can't wait for this cold to give in to a little warmth so that I will be that much more motivated to get out there and walk/run. I walked/ran yesterday and it was only 20 degrees outside... Can we say bundled??

Have some school work to get caught up on today, so no major calorie burns. I'm discovering (with the BodyBugg) that I really have to work on it all day to get the calories burned in order to lose a pound every other day. I mean, seriously work on it. Every movement has to be designed to burn more calories. With one normal workout I don't even hit the 2000 calories a day that people are supposed to be burning. So if I have a sedentary day, I will only hit about 1500 calories, and i know I was taking in more than that before I started this journey... Mitochondrial disease is a metabolic disease. It's all about using, storing and creating energy from what I take in, so it's only natural that with a screwed u system comes a totally not normal way of burning calories.

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to have a Body Bugg, otherwise I would have never known what I was really doing wrong.
