Rosemarie. Sorry took so long to respond. Simple answer no ibuprofen doesn’t upset my stomach. The options given to me was Percocet, hydrocodone etc to help with the pain Never liked how they made me feel plus with my career as a visiting nurse I would never consider except occasionally at bedtime. I’ll do anything to avoid surgery with the orthopedic and neurologist in agreement. As a visiting nurse saw the good and bad outcome of back surgery. Not that I don’t have all the confidence in the world of my MDS. I also realize at a point I might have no other option but till then my ibuprofen somewhat helps especially if I can get get back outdoors walking.
