“Ants on a log” can be made a little bit ahead and can have a variety of fillings. Check Google to see which ones fit with your vegetarian regime.

PS I also like cucumbers or frozen grapes, with a few(maybe an ounce?) nuts.

Pumpkin seeds as a late night snack are fantastic. Get the unsalted ones and organic if possible. They're full of magnesium which is helpful with weight loss. They're calorie dense and full of protein so they're not as physically heavy as some other snacks but still pack a nutritional punch. I often have pumpkin seeds with a glass of low sodium vegetable juice and possibly a few organic almonds.

I don't know what plan you are following but, I enjoy two whole wheat or rye crisps and two tbls of low fat hummus, with a glass of skim milk (low fat soy or almond if you're vegetarian). Not too close to bedtime, if I can.

large flake oatmeal. add vanilla and cinnamon and sweetener to taste. leave it in the fridge. The taste and texture reminds me of rice pudding.

Lettuce, eat lettuce it’ll make you feel full without eating any calories, or chew gum when you feel like eating but aren’t hungry because a lot of snacking is just wanting a flavour rather than to actually become full

If you portion your snacks into baggies or containers you can track them more accurately. I also find them more satisfying that way!

same! I have two Quaker rice cakes (I like the tomato and balsamic flavoured ones) and then I spread classic hummus on top. 2 tablespoons of hummus is 70 calories and one rice cake is 50 cals.

I like rice cakes with light cream cheese, and things on top such as cucumber, strawberries or salsa. I plan my snacks as well and eat snacks at set times

I like to have air popped popcorn with “pickle juice “sprayed on top. I have the pickle juice and a little spray jar that I spray on. I’m kind of a pickle fanatic though. Another snack I like id rye crisps with a very small amount of hummus and sliced dill pickles. I know that pickles are high in sodium but if you slice them fairly thinly you don’t need to eat too many packs a lot of flavor without too much sodium
