It's a beautiful, sunshiney day here, too bad I'm stuck inside working for most of it. Oh well, I'll have something to look forward to after work. It makes me want to go for another run today, but I think I'd better take a day off and do something else, we'll see.

After one song into my run yesterday my Pandora quit working, so did my map app, so it was a long run and a lot harder to push myself without some good tunes. I just kept pushing along, telling myself I could do it and I ran my last whole mile again. Last night felt like the hardest run I've had yet, and I think a lot of it had to do with not having music, it's funny how that can change my whole run.

I found an excellent chocolate protein powder yesterday too. Unfortunately they only sell it here in single serving pouches, so I'm thinking I'm going to have to order it online. It is Nectar Sweets Chocolate Truffle, super yummy and easy to mix with a spoon. I'm going to have to buy more, it really got rid of my chocolate/sweets craving last night and had 23 g of protein. There are a bunch of flavors that you can use in water and I'm going to try one of those today, it's a pina colada type, so we'll see how that is.

Some evil person brought donuts to work today, so I'm going to have to resist those all day. I have everything planned for the day already, so no donuts!!

The donuts remind me of my favorite movie Manaquin. "Those jelly donuts call to me in the middle of the night Hollywood, Come and get me Hollywood. I just can't stay away from them."
