I'm so glad it's not Monday again. It was such a long day, and I was just ready to sink into the couch with a bucket of ice cream at the end of the day. Thank goodness for my hubby and kids who made me laugh and feel better. I took my rest day yesterday because I was so worn out after a long day at work, so today is going to be a run day (as long as the weather holds).

It rained yesterday so no yardwork done, but I should be able to do something today and tomorrow. It's supposed to get to 80 here tomorrow! Then by Sunday, back to 40's. :( Oh well, I'm going to enjoy the sunny warm weather while we have it. I think I'll be able to get 3 runs in this week, as long as my foot doesn't get too sore. I never thought I'd look forward to running, but I feel great after finishing 3 miles, exhausted, but great.

I'm trying to up my protein this week and haven't done great so far, but I'm going to go buy some protein powder today and start drinking that again and that should help. I am trying to keep my calories and carbs down and the protein up, and who would have thought that would be so hard.

It is hard to get the right combination of calories, carbs, and protein! Hope the weather holds for your runs!

I haven't had a workout since Friday and am so looking forward to getting up tomorrow morning and busting my butt. I agree there is no feeling like satisfied exhaustion. Have a wonderful run!
