Went to a Brazilian buffet last night. Lots of meat and veggies, love it! Not even going to attempt to log but I feel I did well. Stayed away from all the rolls and breads. The only real processed carb was the rice in my sushi. Ended falling asleep on the couch yesterday. Did get my run in. Working on building up speed. Not sure if I'm doing it right I'll know more in a few weeks I guess. :) I have 2 5ks in the fall and one in oct. My goal is to run all of even if some people walk faster then my slow slow jog. Everyone has to start somewhere. I loathe running so keeping at it since December is huge!!!

Hope everyone's weekends were good. I have lots of chores for today and some desk work. Elliptical later.

Oh and I did much better at my weight class on Friday! I am learning how to use weights. Never really used machines or free weights. So as I actually start to do it correctly I'll add weight but either my muscles are adapting, I didn't overdo it or I'm starting to do it more correctly. Either way I'm excited to add a new dimension to my workout.

I like to try and guess at dinners out because it gives you a sense of what you ate, so in case the scales don't go your way, you don't have to scratch your head and wonder why. You did great with just meat and veggies, so good for you!

Thanks!! I don't have the patience to create it as the restaurant is not listed so if there is no movement or increase I will recognize that my night out needs more refinement for future adventures.

I know it's a pain, but you could just put it down as "6 ounces pork" and "4 ounces sliced beef" and "3 ounces green beans" even if it's a totally wild guess! I do that all the time when going out. I might be off be hundreds of calories, but I figure it's probably closer than I think and it helps keep me accountable. An example is this Hibachi place we have here that isn't listed, but I just use Benihana as a substitute. I know it's a little off, but it's better than nothing. I love those Brazilian places. Now you got me wanting to go to one, too! LOL!

That's a good point. I shouldn't let my laziness stop me from attempting cause at the end of the day that's what it is. :) I need to work on my ounce measurements. I honestly have no idea what an ounce is. A food scale is my next purchase.
