RoseFlorida's Journal, 31 Mar 14

I am out of fat bombs, I need to make more asap. I guess I'll have to make them when I get home from physical therapy. I don't feel like weighing myself this morning so I'm skipping. Probably until Wednesday when I have a challenge weigh in. I need to remind myself I do NOT need to weigh myself every day. I'm hoping therapy will help me enough today so I can exercise more when I get home. My back on down to my hamstrings is really bad today (since Saturday) and the muscle relaxer is not helping this time.

Rose, I read you journal with deep interest. I am a registered disabled person who spends most of his life in a wheel chair or electric buggy. At one time I would do a 25 mile run every night carrying a pack on my back, this was a requirement in my Regiment. Now I can barley walk a short distance without pain so you can see I do understand your problem. I would encourage you by telling you it is possible to lose the weight it can be achieved by disabled people. Weight loss is not a privilege just for fit and healthy members it is for all who WANT it. I, unlike you, do not blame my disability for my weight gain I blame my mouth and hands so I have now adjusted things and you will see I am losing weight no problem. If you have the will to win and the dedication to succeed you will do it but with the attitude of being too tired to do a simple thing like weighing in, you have a problem my dear. I wish you luck and total success and will return to see how you are getting on soon.

I don't blame my back for my weight gain. And weighing in every day can be counter productive. I would like see a pound or two loss rather than a .10 pound loss. It was NOT because I was too tired. What I do blame my back for is not being able to exercise the way I would like too. I don't like walking every day. And I was hoping the doctor would ok other exercise today, he didn't. In fact the walking is out today also. Doctor's orders. I have to go for a MRI tomorrow morning. I would prefer to do the power90 I used to do before some idiot hit my car. I was obese before I was hit, being on pain killers, muscle relaxers, and bed rest just made it worse.
