I woke up at midnight last night and decided to make chicken and dumplings. Here's the good news, I used bisquick heart smart (it has very little fat) and low sodium broth with chicken breast. But it is still sooooo yummy that it is a comfort food. Here's the funny part, I thought i would start it out with sauteed onions this time. well...it kinda turned into onion soup when i added the onions. i had a lot of onions. :) So the color was wayyyy off, but it was super good!and per bowl was only 300 cal.:)))That is the best part.
