It's FAT TUESDAY! Happy Mardi Gras, I gained. I did have a 3am binge today on about 1/2 cup of semi sweet choclate chips and dry roasted peanuts (about three hands full). It wasn't worth it, it hardly ever is. I have a busy day today but I promise myself and everyone of my buddies here that I am going to make a list of why I want to continue to lose weight and get/stay healthy. I am also going to come up with a Plan of action" so that I can get moving again even with my back problem. I KNOW there is a lot I can still do until the back problem is solved. I am even thinking of some yoga and physical therapy moves hubby used that will help strengthen my back without putting any pressure on the damaged area.

thanks to everyone that wrote me and has helped to encourage me to continue the good fight. It is so difficult at my age and my thinner friends are on hormone therapy and things that help them... I am not and cannot.

I will write out my plan of action and committment. Today is busy but I will do it! and thanks for some of you that sent me more reasons to think about ... you will see them appear on my plan of action. Thank goodness you were here for me.

You are so right about the binge! It really is not worth it! Especially when we grab things that don't even taste good. I am hoping your back is much better very soon. The yoga moves sound wise but the doctor usually knows best. Say! I know what might help! Maybe administering another challenge might help to take your mind off things. Hint! Hint! No? Well. At least I tried. The challenges you administered have been my favorite - favorite - favorite! Take care!

Hi Janelle, I've been looking at your chart. You have lost twenty-two pounds since you started here (thirty pounds if measure to August 8) and are only eight pounds above your low. We are in winter, where *everyone* gains weight. You are actually doing extremely well, and there is absolutely no reason at all to get upset. You are *maintaining.* Insofar as your back is concerned, I had a problem with my left arm a while back which really worried me, it was numb all the time (scary). It turned out that I was resting my chin on my left hand and resting my elbow on the desk while using my computer for hours and hours. That caused a repetitive stress injury which went away fairly shortly after it was discovered. I worried about it though, a lot. Sometimes these things can disturb us more than we know and throw us totally off balance. Keep calm, try to be happy, and wait to see what the doctor says about your back, the solution will be found. Again, please don't be afraid of gaining a few pounds because it will stress you out no end, and that's part of the deal when you do a diet. Anyway, you sound a lot better today and I'm very glad for that. Love to you too! :-)

I am going to try to admin another challenge when I get back from my trip in April. So in May I will probably start another challenge if I can get some people to help as team leaders again **hint hint** We will see who is still interested in May. I could use the motivation myself. information, thank you somuch for the comment. It means so much to me that my buddies are here to help me through this. I am going to work this out, with the help of my friends like you. I am going to figure out what I need to do to start losing again and reach my goal. Thank you so much. Hubby said I need to call doc's office again and let them know that I really feel the need to be seen sooner. Otherwise my appointment is 3 weeks away. I do feel better though, no pain... just some pressure than goes away if I don't sit too long. You're very sweet to have taken the time look over my chart and offer help. Thanks
