Well today is my first day on the Atkins Diet. I've been reading so many good things about it, I really wanted to give it a try. I already was barely eating pasta, bread, and such, so I think giving up starches won't be to bad. I am a little concerned because my calorie intake is higher on a low-carb diet, but I'm excited to know that I intend on staying around 1800-2000 calories for my daily intake. I know as time passes on, your supposed to end up eating less and less. I hope this theory holds true. I'll give it a week, and see where my weight goes, if any water weight is let go. I'm very excited to see where I end up. Hopefully I'll continue losing weight. I am very optimistic about this diet!! Has anyone else had any luck on Atkins?
