I need to learn to not let personal issues affect my eating. I've trashed the last 2 days, urgh. Back on track now...

(((HUGS))) I can relate. I medicate with food too. This will be the hardest part of our new eating habits to fix, but it can be done. It's up to us. Find your anchor and focus on it when these times hit. We can (and WILL) overcome!

Thanks. I just wish that the revelation could come before I consume an entire days worth of McDonald's! It's okay, it's a setback but only 1 days worth. I'm back on now, not tomorrow, but right now!

Well, I didn't want to laugh at another's expense, because on the serious point of it all, I know when we have a bad day, it isn't funny, but I did get tickled at seeing McD's in your food journal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I KNOW where you are coming from. I've been known to hit Burger King for a Whopper, Taco Bell for a taco, Captain D's for "crunchies", and Sonic for a Route 44 Coke, for one meal. Of course, I live out in the country and when I go to town, I have to make it worth my while. I made a trip to town tonight (30 minutes one way) to get a Starbucks. My kids started whining, "I want McD's." I looked up the calories and there was nothing there that was worth the cheat for me today. I looked up the calories at Taco Bell, Krystals, etc, but eh. I went with Subway. I want to lose 60 lbs before we go on vacation this year. That is my anchor for now. There will be "goals" in between, i.e. clothes in my closet I can't wear right now, but that is my long distance goal for now. It's about 10 lbs a month. We have a baby shower coming up in the future. I will plan for it, but ugh, I'm scared right now. I don't want to fear what I put in my mouth. I'm an addict. If I make one mistake, I have a hard time getting back on track. Blah. I'm getting wordy (can you tell I'm bored and in need of some adult conversation? lol). I guess I need to get out of your journal. ;) I could go on and on....

I guess I had to do it once, but that will be a one time thing! I've come to far for that stinkin' ugly clown with red hair to totally do me in. =)

If only I could've eaten all my meals like I did dinner tonight! I'll do better tomorrow I'm sure.
