Oops. Mixed up my days. Today is really the 16 but I entered the 15th on the 16th... oh well...it's still a record. Another challenging day...good weather prompted breakfast at the Marina. Just ate half of a breakfast Panini - rest tomorrow for breakkie. Lunch was light as we were to dine at friends. Walked a fair bit, shopping - found a gorgeous dress, a skirt (medium!), nice top, some frilly leggings - can't wait to wear them dancing. Off to line dance social for some exercise then to a friends for dinner. Didn't overinduldge and drank more water than wine. Yes, I can do it! Now to bed!!
Feb 15: Tried very hard to stick with the program despite having friends over for dinner. Made a lovely Tian (layered squash, zucchini, tomato with onion/parm) - yummy and beautiful to look at. Also tried cauliflower rice with veggies added and soya sauce - kind of a fried rice look a like without the calories. Again, pretty good I thought. The chicken, well, I breaded it with a mix of crushed cornflakes, Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix and parm. Very tasty. A friend bought dessert but with all the day's activities I felt justified in having a little. Oh, but fell off the wagon with a few Margarita's. Overall, a valiant effort. And .. a fun time!
