Thanks for all kind words the other day....I really appreciate it. This site has been a life saver! Not much to report today...went to the gym, doing some laundry, the usual, still feeling out of sorts, think I may just be in a rut. My hubby and I (as most people are) are broke from the holidays, so we haven't been out of the house together since New Years Eve. Honestly, I would be happy, just to take a nice walk downtown together...but he's just not in the mood. Poor guy, his mom passed away 2 years ago this coming Tuesday, he gets very maudlin this time of year, I wish there was more I could do for him. Plus my Mom is getting worse, her doctor is probably going to put her back in the hospital next week...she wont eat right or check her sugar often enough and then she wonders why she ends up in the hospital on insulin...it's very frustrating. She is always angry with me, and yells, makes biting remarks, and wont listen to common sense.....oh well enough pity party time for me....lol
Thanks again~Jen

Great job, Jen...stress is such a hard thing to deal with, but you are doing just fine. Sorry for your hubby, and for your situation with your mom. When our folks get older and can't or won't take care of themselves they often take it out on their children...she is probably frustrated and scared and doesn't understand the reason's that she can't eat the things she wants to eat. Does it sound as if I have been there, done that? Yep, MIL...we went through the same thing with her...so sad. She would pretend to take her meds then spit them in a kleenex and throw them in the trash, because she didn't like the fact that the water pills made her have to walk to the bathroom, or that she couldn't eat the donuts and junk she wanted with her diabetic meds....and it made her very angry when we confronted her about it. She would get really, really nasty. Try to take it in stride and take care of you...that will help you deal with them more effectively. Hugs!!
