I have to restart exercising! It's funny that, when I'm not exercising, the prospect of exercising is not very enjoyable, as opposed to when I'm exercising :)

I understand your comment and agree... getting up to exercise is the mental challenge. Once I do exercise, then I feel better.

I'm 64 and had wanted to start working out in 2012. Actually I did start and about the 2 nd week went from the gym to urgent care (my doc was associated with it and happened to be working). One lung wasn't working at all due to pneumonia I had felt fine till I was on the elliptical. It was the 3rd bout in 6 months. She finally OK'd me to go back last Sept as no pneumonia and we had my asthma finally back under control. I am trying to do strength training every other day. Try to start my day every day at least 20 min walking on my gazelle and go for at least another 45 min of cardio after work the days between strength.

That must have been some experience Wholefoodnut! I'm glad you recovered and resumed exercise! Never exercise or limit calories when ill. I'm amazed at the amount of daily exercise you're doing! If that's working for you, that's great! Just be careful with recovery times. If you notice you're getting worse instead of better that means you're not resting enough. Exercise is a great thing. I've even heard about it developing our brains (making new neural connections, etc)
