Well I would not try and pass them off as chips to the kids, but they were hot and tasty and filling!

Trytry, they are also known as a daikon radish. They are very low calorie, like radishes but have the same texture when raw and are good for salads. Cooked like that the texture is similar to potato chips but the taste is more turnipy. They also make an excellent vegetarian curry. Hard to describe, but I like to mix up the veggies!

Great idea! I love daikon but never had it like this. Were they sweet? I made celeriac chips other day and thought they were pretty awesome too 😊

Hey Nutricali, no they weren’t sweet they were slightly bitter, more like turnip than swede if that makes sense. Really good though. I love celeriac chips too!

I keep wanting to buy them to make these Taiwanese pastries I love (and lots of kimchi 😋) but they are currently under ban in my house after I accidentally let them expire 🙈

Do they really expire? I suppose they must go a bit floppy after a while.
