Thanks, Mitzi, yes I totally agree. I think one of the biggest myths about diet is that an indulgent day or even week is a failure. We all absolutely love food in our family and there's nothing wrong in the occasional calorie upswing. Things can always be balanced out later. That's one reason I think I will probably stick to 5:2 or 6:1 long term - it's just a good way to pay regular attention and balance things out without making it feel like constant deprivation.
