I guess today is a baking frenzy...which makes me laugh, 'cause none of us can eat this stuff! LOL!!! Why am I making it for other people?
Oh, well...off to check my chocolate pecan pie! They said it was YUMMO at Thanksgiving and requested a follow-up for tomorrow's party! Love.

You had asked on the 15th where is was that I live. I live in Vermont, just outside of where the capital is. So you could say we are neighbors.lol Would you come a bake for me? I've just not found enough hours in a day to do it. That Choc. Pecan pie sounds yummy. Hope you had a great day.:)

Hey Laurie - it's been my favorite pasttime these last few weeks, as my son's high school has been sponsoring bake sales at our church every Sunday since before Thanksgiving...yesterday, I made peppermint whoopie pies! They look fantastic! I just enjoy torturing myself I guess. No real desire to eat this stuff...just some nurturing instinct kicking in ...like Restless said! LOL!!! The kids at my son's high school think I am the 'bomb' ...cause I bake for them every week, and they get to eat the leftovers!!! Today...sugar cookie cutouts w/ sprinkles for the firehouse (middle son)...and during the week, homemade fudge for my Mom!!! It keeps the 'family' and 'homemade' aspect of Christmas alive and well around my place :)
