So it is only week two, and first week was a good as can be expected with 2 pounds lost; but I did what I swore I wouldn't do, which is step on the scale without enough days passed for another tick downward. So this results in dissatisfaction with a small gain; which then gets me thinking again that how am I gaining weight when I am in about -1000 calories down a day. It is like my body doesn't understand the math. I wouldn't mind if I held steady, but it is demoralizing to see that I am doing what I need to do only to see an up tick. Now, one could say, if it were not for the diet and exercise then I would be up even more, but how the heck am I gaining? I need to back of the weigh ins anything more than once a week.....
