Just finished a nice work out. 40 minutes on the treadmill @ 3 mph and working on putting together a lifting routine so lifted for about 20 minutes. Getting a nice dinner together, broccoli, pork cutlet with some homemade marinara and a little whole wheat pasta. I am bound and determined to get some more movement on that scale this week, would like to get off a few more lbs before x-mas. I know I am not going to make my goal of 240 by New Years but what the hay...just gonna keep at it. Not here to kill myself, just trying to get a little better each day and do what I can commit to long term!

Well, goals are nice, as they can help keep us motivated, but you are smart not to let it take on too much importance. Some people might use not meeting a goal as "permission" to give up. You are doing so many things right, it will work for you, I am certain.

You are doing great. I set a goal last month to make it to 182 by February 13, my birthday. I don't think I will make that goal, but I'm less discouraged than I thought I'd be because I really am focused on the fact that so long as the scale keeps going in the right direction, I can hang in there. We're in this together Babs. I'm really impressed with your exercise regime. I need to get more active...
