As of tomorrow it will be 1 month since I quit smoking... although I haven't really kept to my diet as well as I should at least I have stopped one horrible habit. (I do feel though that quitting smoking has caused me to cough for the last month... which is only now starting to get better)

As to the diet I think I may be scewing serving size for some items and wish there was an easier way to judge things like that. I would like to cut out processed foods and fats, but those type of items are usually the easiest to figure out serving size and count the calories on. I think the next purchase I need is a kitchen scale and few more measuring cups...
