OH man, last night was my husbands birthday, and let me tell you I ate CAKE! Home made chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting on top..........and I ate another piece tonight!!! Why can't I control this eating! I just don't get it! And now I feel so guilty! I don't understand how I can want something so bad, and still make these bad choices that I am. I feel so lousy.......is that a word hahaha. Anyway, I feel tired and sluggish. I need to really try A LOT HARDER on my eating. I do enjoy working out, but have had to make myself do that some days even. To day I took off from working out, I had to work all day. I know I always feel better when I work out. I know I would feel 150% better if I would just STOP THIS OUTRAGIOUS EATING!

Aw, a day off here and there... honestly does no major harm and after all it was your hubby's birthday, so you deserved a treat! ;o) I can sympathise though, as I know when I eat sweet things I often land up craving more later... I guess this is the simple carbs (processed foods, cakes, biscuits) vs. complex carbs (fruits, veggies and wholegrains) idea where complex carbs are broken down slower, leaving you satisfied for longer. Whereas eating simple carbs often are only a temporary fix and we land up wanting more food later! Interesting you mentioned the feeling lousy, tired and sluggish as I've noticed that too depending on what I eat. I certainly noticed in last year on Christmas Day when I'd eaten too much rubbish!!!! I do believe in the eat good, feel good factor because of this. Need to get back to doing some exercise here too, as I agree that there's definitely something to be said about that making you feel good too! You keep up the great work though and hugs to you too. ;o)
