Still "snowing" here. I went out to Trader Joe's and was surprised to see people out in this muck. Actually saw some people running and biking. Ewww-I feel so nauseated and grimey with all the smoke and ash. It's very hot and dry too-like being in a barbeque (at least that's what I imagine it to be like).

Had brownies for dinner last night-got through the strawberry milkshake scare only to end up making brownies. Had no chocolate in the house so went through the cupboards furiously looking for cocoa powder. Poor husband knew better than to try to stop me. Ate 4 squares-very delicious. Felt barfy almost immediately. Weighed in this morning and had lost a pound. Really? I eat crap and lose a pound. Really?

Have not exercised either-not for two days. Not even my daily calisthenics. Have to get my act together-seriously.

I'd take that loss and RUN with it. Congrats! Hope you get some relief from that "snow" soon. :)

You know that being hypothyroid makes our bodies do strange things. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we discovered brownies were diet food for us :D NAH.... not gonna happen! Darn we are so much alike, I have not exercised in a couple days myself. I suppose I gave myself time off for good behaviour. We really need to get back to it, don't we?! Our granddaughter's husband is a firefighter from Carlsbad, and we are so worried about him. He is one of those out there battling those fires. They do tell everyone to stay indoors and not expose themselves to the smoke and ash. Keep safe!!

Janellas, I am in the same boat. I had to force myself onto the Wii Fit last night and almost did not do it :) Back in the wagon for us all LOL

OH my! First-I pray that your grandson -in-law is safe. It looks like the fires are close to containment due to a combination of firefighting and weather. The sky is much clearer today and my sinus feels better. I have a ton of ashes to clean off the car and the porch-yuch. I did calisthenics yesterday afer I journaled-I find journaling will push me into action when I am procrastinating. Still had rubbish to eat though-pasta and brownies for dinner. I think I am pre menstrual. I was thinking about why I veered off course-I think it was in reaction to all the hard work last week keeping under the limbo and NOT losing weight. I think I was being defiant. I am back on track though. No worries.

You have hot-dry snow, I have cold-wet snow here. The temp is warming though, hope so, I want to get out and walk. Maybe get on the treadmill. Choclate - mmmmm - sounds good, and weight loss too? Good for you. Take care.
