Ran 6 miles a few days ago. Was so chuffed, the furthest I have run yet! One of the reasons I want to lose weight is so i can run further and faster. Would love to run a marathon one day.

Once those endorphins kick in there’s no stopping you, many years ago I completed a Marathon under four hours - never again but nice to have done one and it’s a great motivational goal re the training for it - good luck enjoy 👍

Yes, I agree; those endorphins are great! Wow! Completing a marathon under 4 hours is amazing! How come you never did one again?

Put me off running for life 😂😂 I was a X Country champion as a kid but drifted away from it all - prefer to cycle now easier on my ageing joints !

That’s amazing, well done! 😊 I’m envious of people who can run! How do you and humpT get those endorphins started? When do they kick in? 😅

@nutricali- it honestly took a while for me to enjoy running. At the beginning, I could barely run for 30 seconds, never enjoyed it and would hurt for days afterwards.
I was running on and off until, one day, I ran for 15 minutes straight without stopping. That's when I started to enjoy it, because it was such an amazing success for me.
And now, I can run for over an hour. It does take time, you really have to push yourself at the beginning. But, it's so worth it.
