Did measurements today...so not too bad for 4 months of progress: 21 lbs down (never to be up again!) 15.5 inches lost (never to be found again!) Learnings: 1) Exercise is a must! 2) Eating enough calories to keep the furnace burning is a must! 3) Drinking my three 32 oz bottles of H2O per day is a must! 4) 2 Tbsp of flax meal per day prevents constiptation 5) My favorite sources of protein are 100% Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla Soy Slender, Fat Free Plain Greek Yogurt Lastly, I learned that without the support of all my wonderful buddies here on FS, I would have given up along time ago. For you all I am thankful!!!

Wow, IMPRESSIVE losses - both in weight AND in inches! Love that feeling! Oh, my favorite source of protein? fat free, Greek style plain yogurt! LOVE this stuff! I sweeten mine a bit with stevia, add a couple of chopped up strawberries, a small handful of blueberries, a bit of sliced almonds, a chopped up walnut and a TBL of flax seed pumpkin granola. LOVE this - have it every day... I'd swear it's a dessert! Dead on for ALL your observations!

@redwinelover- I have that for dessert too. the n/f yogurt, strawberries or blueberries, flax meal, sometimes add some granola if i need a few extra calories. We buy the unsweetened frozen berries at Costco by the huge bags. We use them for protein shakes in the am and desserts at night. They are a god send until you can get fresh berries in season. The fresh in the megamart now are so flavorless. A little stevia does perk up the sweetness that you need with the plain yogurt.

Babs, you are doing so awesome. Congrats on those numbers. Just wait until the next measurements. That is the part that amazes me the most, is the inches lost. I only lost 4 pounds in 2 months, but lost 9.5 inches. It was amazing. Again, congratulations and keep up the great work. As for inspiration, you give more than you get. Thanks!

Wonderful job! I love that yogurt too. Unfortunately I can no longer eat it as I can not digest dairy products anymore. I found some plain soy yogurt at a health food store, but not nearly as good. But, I would rather be healthy than sick, so no more cow yogurt for me!!! And yes that is wonderful progress on your part for 4 months. Proud of you!!!!!
