Even though I was again up at 4, i'm just getting online now (at noon)...another sleepless night thinking of all the "to do"s! But boy can you get a lot done when you get up that early! I was at the gym for cardio interval class at 5:45, grocery shopped, did the business & our personal banking, and as I'll now be traveling from Nashville (moving youngest back) to Tallahassee (moving oldest home) on Weds, I booked my & our new flights & hotel. It was the change in my travel plans & how we were going to get oldest moved home that had kept me awake, but I think its sorted out, so I'm bound to sleep tonight, right!?! Now I'll drive with youngest on Sat & Sun to Nashville, move him in on Mon & Tues, fly to Tallahassee & meet oldest there on Weds, move him out on Thurs & Fri, and fly home on Sat -- quite a week ahead! But, I'm feeling good, staying my course, surprisingly not that tired yesterday or today (yet!) & optimistic that this is the fresh start my oldest needs. He's at transfer student orientation at his new school all day today & already texted that its going great :). Oh yeah, and I'm treating myself to a mani-pedi this afternoon... so no complaints here!
But before I continue on my busy day, I'll again pray (I'm needing it multiple times each day these days!) --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And throughout this one day and each one meal, moment, bite & emotion, I'll continue to pray, breathe, journal & express, one at a time. Today, I'm grateful for each & every one of you, my family & other friends, having both boys home for another day, beautiful weather again in the northeast and this life I love! xoxox
