I had a good workout today at the gym- weights and then 45 min. on the bike. It is a little frustrating to know though that I am not burning as many calories as I do on the ellipitical, yet I need to train. I will go out tomorrow morning either for a run or swim. I went for a short run last night and did better than I thought I would do. I ran around the outside of our subdivision which I timed to be .8 mile- so I need to go a little further to make it one mile. But I timed it and did it in 9 minutes which included stopping twice briefly to walk. Running is hard for me but I actually kind of enjoyed it last night. 4 times around will be exactly the 3.2 miles for the triathlon so that will be nice for training purposes.

Heading out for dinner tonight on a date. Hopefully I won't totally sabatouge myself as I usually do. I will prob. order what I want but eat slowly and consciously- fork down b/w every bite!

Have a good weekend!

Way to go on the exercise! Yes, it is frustrating to do something when you know something else is more productive. However, in the whole scheme of things, you're training for a triathalon is very well thought out and comprehensive. You're only 3 lbs to your goal weight! Wow. I bet you make that even before the triathalon date. You're on your way, Rachel. Great plan for date night tonight! Make sure to drink plenty of water...esp if having ETOH (alcohol). =)
