Swimming this morning - I made it. Drive in was a bit hairy. Very misty and one minute it was clear and the next you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Met a huge tractor and trailer head on in the lane. Good job I was on the ball. I really enjoy swimming when I get there and there's aqua gym machines in the pool - a stepper, rowing machine, bike and an eliptical so I had a good workout and did 12 lengths so I'm feeling pleased with myself
The Scottish mist had cleared when I came out and the sun is out now - will it last?

Have arranged to go down south at end of November to see my daughters and granddaughters so I'm hoping I'll have shed a few more pounds by then. Haven't seen them since June and am hoping to impress them!

Have decided that I need to lower my carb intake but am finding it hard to know what to eat I don't have bread, pasta or rice very often but don't have much idea of the carb content in other foods. I'll have to do a bit of homework.
