If it’s pasta I love it, but it’s something I’ve pretty much given up for the short term. With most foods I can manage portion control but pasta is not in that category so it’s best I don’t even start. But yes, couscous with onions and peas is a favorite. Or plain, topped with blackened tuna.

honestly, I think my favorite grain is probably steel cut oats these days. Weird, huh? LB, try pasta made from chickpeas. it's delicious and full of fiber and they carry it at my Target, so it's not impossible to find.

Thank you Katsolo. I will try the chickpeas pasta. That makes me think of hummus, which is something else I love but have not had in many months.

I've been using chickpea pasta as well. My other favs are lentil pasta and rice pasta.

LB, I can relate lol pasta I typically devour... a lot of in a short period of time. Kat, I don’t have the patience to wait for steel cut oats to cook lol even the “quick” steel cut take wayyyy to long. However, one of the better cho sources to pick! Garbanzo beans are 👌🏽, if you drain them (if you buy them canned) pat them dry and spray with cooking oil and bake them. Season as you wish, but they are 🔥🔥🔥

Glaz3ddonut I will try the baked Garbanzos. I am off today so sounds good for a rainy day snack. Thank you.

You can soak steel cut oats overnight and microwave for two minutes next morning. That said, I prefer making them in the instant pot and just warning them up.

@slnzzz never had it. I’m a huge texture eater.. with that being said, what’s it like lol @kat never thought about the instantpot #lifehack.
