Road my bike for an hour and I felt really strong (except I didn't attempt the second half of "the hill that will be my undoing"). I barely realized I'd done 12 miles and I was home already. I need to push it to 15 for each ride now even though it means...gulp...THE HILL.

I'd say ice cream for lunch was kind of a fail but I did manage to stay away from tons of caffeine today and I'm still at under 900 calories as of now.

Great job! Don't dread the hill just remember to only look a few feet in front of you and the you are still on the flat. It's all in how you look at it. Besides think.how proud of yourself you will be when you reach the top and the thrill of the ride back down.
