I have been sick since January 2019. Over these months I lost 20kg due to vomiting. I am unable to eat and keep the food down. I was told last January that my stomach isn’t emptying properly. I am now on NG tube feeding 80ml/15h after spending a week in hospital. The aim is first to start again to eat ( if my stomach starts working again), stop losing weight and maintain it to finally put some weight on and stop the tube feeding. So far after 2 months of tube feeding I am happy to not have lost weight but wasn’t able to keep food down ( soft food or liquid food). With the Covid-19, all medical appointments have been postponed and I was told to carry on as it is for a further 2 months at least with the perspective of a NJT tube.
