Discouraged I'm not losing weight (and actually I've gained some), but encouraged I'm riding my bike more and did 15 miles this morning. I know this is all about my bad eating habits and I'm having a hard time giving up the goodies (sigh).

Don't give up the goodies, just use moderation. People say, "don't use food as a reward for doing good" and I agree, somewhat. But the very word diet usually implies giving up all that you like and having to eat what you don't like. So, eat what you like, just do so in moderation. If you like Brownies go for the FiberOne Brownies, they come in Chocolate Fudge and Peanut Butter/Chocolate. They're only 90 calories each and have I think 33% of your daily fiber needs. If you drink sweet tea, try mixing it with half sweet and half unsweet tea. You can do this!

I agree. I haven't given anything up I just eat less of it. Instead of having a coke everyday, I only have one once in a while (usually for tummy trouble). I love chocolate, so I separate it into single servings. Instead of eating an entire bag of a small bag of m&m' s I make it last all week, by only eating 5 at a time. I have found it still fixes the craving.
