That is great being forced to buy salmon. I had some for dinner and it was so good!

Yeah. I don't mind but somehow the thought of eating fish on every meal doesn't sound too great... I guess we shall see 🤣

Maybe you can find different recipes for it and make it more interesting. Most are simple easy to prepare.

Check out Laura Vitale's pan fried salmon recipe. It's one of the most palatable ways I have found to eat it with a nice crisp outside. If you don't have the ingredients she used you can play around with the ones you have and it usually works well.

Yoyo, my wife took about ten pork rinds put them in a baggie and crushed them with a big spoon, coated the salmon and baked them on a cookie sheet in the oven. No added carbs and only 5 calories for a crunchy outside and a tender inside and it reall Looks and tastes awesome.

Flake it and mix with scrambled eggs, use like you would cannned tuna and make salmon salad sandwich, flake it and toss with pasta and green peas or broccoli, turn it into salmon cakes (like a crab cake), make a hot salmon mousse dip and spread on crackers. You can do alot with it !

Love salmon. It is what I have been eating the last two days.

Wow. And I imagined salmon love was not that common. I might have to try some of those out. Especially the panfry ...

I would choose salmon over meat any day! I'm a proud Oregonian who loves everything that comes out of our ocean!

I keep picturing the beautiful Salmon I saw a week ago at Kroger. We didn't buy any and when we went to Costco on Friday they didn't have any. We bought chicken & steak. Really wishing I had gotten the Salmon.

Sorry 😔... On another note, how come all ground beef is gone but steaks are still remaining? Especially here in the south people were supposed to be all about the steaks. 🤔

Yoho the cost is prohibitive for some

Well salmon is much better for you than beef. I think you're very blessed. We do not hoard but we have always had a full pantry and freezer forever.

There is a post earlier here that gave many ideas on what to do with salmon. I think that was a great post. You can mix it up in a lot of ways. So many things in so many flavors. You'll do fine.

Moop, the weird thing is even the very expensive beef was gone. You know the stuff that costs more than those steaks 🤣

Did you ask the market “where’s the beef?” 😂😂😂
BTW this is one of my go to salmon recipes.

need to see if I can buy all the ingredients for that... I would need rice, soy... olive oil, rice vinegar, sesame oil... lol... I have like none of the ingredients except the fish :D
