Now that I am back at the gym full time, my weight goes up. my eating wasn't that bad this week, I admit it wasn't great either but I really expected a loss this week 😔

hiya, if you've been at the gym the whole week, there is a good chance the weight you put on is muscle mass and not fat 😉. That's why when most people start gym, you measure your chest, hip, waist, arm's, leg's. As you lose body fat, you are getting muscles, so well done. 😊😊👍

Try daily weighing on the scale first thing every morning

Hey there! Because you are gymming your weight will increase! But that’s because of increased muscle mass - not fat. This is a great thing because as your body composition changes to include more muscle, your metabolism will get faster and use more of the stored fat on your body when you’re resting and exercising; you will put on weight (muscle) to lose weight (fat). Swap out the scale for a measuring tape as scales are an extremely inaccurate measure of how you’re doing. If weighing yourself hurts your confidence, it’s not worth it! Don’t be owned by numbers ❤️
