Today was a really long hard day. Went into work for 6 and had trouble getting into the building (there's no one there at that time.) Somehow in the process my belt broke and the pants I was wearing really don't fit without a belt so I kinda worried about losing them all day. I had to run home after working almost 12 hours (and before going to a 3 hour grad class) for a belt. I was really scared I was going to lose my pants on the stairs. For the record, these are the pants I bought in July so that feels kinda good :)

It's new iPod day! I ordered my 160 GB Classic from Amazon and it came today. Might still use my old nano for some exercise stuff but I really love the idea of so much music. :) I'm loading it up as we speak.

Did pretty well foodwise today, I think I've figured out how many/how much to bring with me on days like this. I learned I DEFINITELY need a post class snack (especially as I have a few professors so far that don't give the normal break in the middle of class.) I also have gotten very skilled at eating in the car (although I was pretty good at that.)

Tomorrow will be much easier thankfully, I won't have to go in so insanely early and won't have class after. Plus, I have the shiny new iPod for lovely background music all day.

It's hard to manage your diet when your going to class. I found that if I weighed/portioned everything out the night before, it was easier

I've been doing that in the morning which seems to be working so far. I didn't realize how much even basic i0ods advanced since I bought my last one in 2005. My new classic blows my old nano out of the water and not just in terms of capacity. So glad I got this and I've wanted a new iPod for two years. I'm also wearing pants that fit today, an old pair that I couldn't zip back in the summer and is a size 18. I feel skinny today, lol

Glad you won't be losing your britches!!! You seem to be a bundle of energy ... oh yea ... that's right ... you are 20 years younger than me!! LOL!!!
