Day 40 of Shaun T... been sitting here, catching up on things, waiting for that motivation (or guilt) to come so I can go do my workout...AND...it's a day of REST! OMG...didn't even see it coming. But...as gross as I feel, I'll go do a workout, probably the Slim in 6 one.

Wanna know how sucky it is to have a thyroid issue? When YOU retain water, the scale will stay the same, maybe go up a pound, maybe even two. Heaven forbid, right? Not me...I always feel like I'm a week away from fat. I am NOT recording this weight, but I'm up like FOUR pounds. I know it's mostly water retention. I burned a lot of calories, I know that much. I DID drink a lot of wine and I DID eat a lot of pita chips...but not like I pigged out on everything in site. SO...I'm hoping it's just retention and that it'll "disappear". Otherwise, I'm looking at three weeks to get THAT off. So not fair. I know, no one promised that life would be fair. And things could be so much worse...

Hmmm...I almost feel FREE today, not having Shaun T hanging over my head... I should DO something other than sit here. My son helped me set up my Facebook yesterday, so I've sat here A LOT just doing that and getting lost in all of that stuff. Okay...plan...workout... shower...okay, lost whatever thought that was.... Wow, I need a life!

Good for you. I know it is hard not to obsess when you see increases. I can barely contain myself when it happens to me. We just have to remember that fluctuations happen and it seems like with your thyroid condition you may be more susceptible to it. As I read your past entries, it seems to me that you are working hard and so there should be no reason to panic. You are strong and like they say, "This to shall pass". Have a great day for YOU.

No, no one promised that life would be fair. That's for sure! You know that I don't understand thyroid issues, but I'm hoping that you will see a "correction" in the scale readings tomorrow. Having to endure three more weeks sounds almost unbearable. I'm sorry that you are having to work so hard for each and every pound. Have a good day buddy!

Wow I like what Klannoye said. Maybe I'll go tape up my scale too. Hating it right now lol. So funny you're on FB now as I just got mine finished earlier this week too. You know something though, I don't have thyroid issues but I have to take an insulin pill because I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. My doctor said unless i lose weight, I have to take them for the rest of my life. He then said because of it, it's going to be a challenge for me to lose the weight. I said thanks doc, I've always liked a challenge. I hope you can get through your challenge too.

Hey, Klannoye... THANK YOU!!! You've saved me from my evil scale. I hate that thing anyway. And GURL... :) No idea why I stepped on it...masochistic? lol.... Oh hey, this is for you (.) Oh, fail.... I was mooning you. *sigh*

Hi Youngbug... (yes, I read how you got your name, now you can add THIS story to your newer nickname) Hmmm... is it metformin? Or something like that? If so, a great side benefit is its a really powerful protector against cancer. WE SHALL PREVAIL!! :)

Okay, RWL this is mooning someone.....().(). Lol, and Klannoye is right you are grounded for being so masochistic!!! Now step away fom the scales and put them in the box as Klannoye instructed! Bad, bad girl!! lol............Alas, I must tell you that I missed my Si6 and Pilates tonight due to all the shit that I was going through (pun fully intended). I will, however, be back at it tomorrow full force, and all others need to stay away until the septic problem is solved or face the possiblity of being overcome by the odor that I am sure to emit when I am done!!! PHEW!! lol Hope that you are feeling better, D. Tomorrow simply must be better!

Ah D. You know you're on top and ahead in your weight loss (well now anyway) so don't let that evil scale bring you down! You are doing amazingly well and it's definitely not going to be a permanent gain of ANY lbs knowing how dedicated you are to this lifestyle change! Don't worry. Some day, we might both be friends with our scales - won't that be crazy! :D

Lol, I like Youngbug too RWL. I take Glumetza. Metformin hurt my tummy too much!

I agree box up that evil scale. We focus too much on it. You are doing great things for your health. Be proud of that and enjoy it.
