Had another good night's sleep & on to Day 3 of my 5-day cleanse. Feeling good & have to say that it's really nice to not have to think about what/how much to eat. Hoping this will help me re-start my journey as I continue to sort out my personal demon -- sugar.
So as I know I need to do daily, I will start my day in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And will pray, breathe, post & express for this one day, cleansing drink, moment and emotion at a time. xoxox

Thought of you the other day when I picked up a sampler pack of Green Superfoods - have you ever tried those? Supposed to add them to smoothies or milk - I did one with water ... tasted like mowed lawn. Guess I will need to add some fruit in - at least this way I can control the amount. Glad your cleanse is going well ~ I know that always gives you a fresh start.

Angel -- I did try the Green Superfoods, but had the same reaction & gave up after a couple of attempts trying to come up with a tasty recipe. But have had a couple of really delicious smoothies this week, one green smoothie with kale, collards, cucumbers, avocado, garlic, apple & basil that was surprisingly tasty.

That sounds really good - esp the avocado/cucumber part. I keep thinking about a cucumber/yogurt mix when I'm working but don't remember it when I get to the kitchen ~ guess I don't really need it, huh :-) I'm not sure WHERE this craving is coming from but I'm craving salmon and pineapple, TOGETHER. Now what's up with THAT?

LOL - I googled it trying to find the reason behind craving it and there were a zillion recipes... so it's not weird at all. Found one for quinoa, salmon & pineapple. Now I know what I'm having for dinner!
