I forgot my breakfast/lunch bag this morning. This is more of an issue than usual... the deli in my building is closed this week for a Labor Day holiday. I had some cheese. And I ate half a "chocolate chip granola" Atkins bar (but it was yucky tasting and I threw the other half away). So I will definitely have to go out for lunch today. Luckily my local diner is used to my low carb ways. :-) And I don't *really* need to stay in and play warcraft *every* lunch hour. Hmm. Well, maybe.
The Healthy Skeptic had a great blog post on diabetes today - http://thehealthyskeptic.org/diabesity-the-1-cause-of-death-and-disease - some of the citations about kids and how folks are becoming diabetic at younger ages is really scary. This is going to be the first of a series, I am interested to see what he says. I don't have diabetes but my sister does. When he is done I'll pass it along to her. His heartburn series saved my health and sent me on this WOE.
