I have previously been on the Zone diet for the past few weeks and going to the gym almost everyday. I felt good, and I thought I had looked like I was losing weight, but when I weighed myself this morning, I died. 170 pounds. I've never weighed that much in my life. I decided to start Atkins last night (before I weighed myself) because I wanted some serious weight loss since my senior homecoming is coming up in about 7 weeks. My goal weight is 130, but I would like to lose at least 15-20 pounds by homecoming time. Could my extra weight be muscle? I don't know... I know my marching uniform was a little bit tighter in my jacket, but loose in my pants.
Can anyone give me any tips for as a starter on Atkins?
