It was my first time, finally I gathered up the courage and felt healthy enough to do it ✌️

I have very bad veins so usually they need to poke me for quite a bit to get my blood work done. I am not courageous enough.

Thanks for the comments, to be honest I didn't expect to be so much thanked for what I did. Yesterday at the place I donated the staff was also being so thankful and that made me think that the hospitals always need much more blood than they actually have. At first I was scared and I asked if I was going to faint 😂 nothing happened at the end, the actual process to take the blood out of my body didn't even take 5 minutes, it was not even painful.

Do you mean left-handed? I'm not, I wear the watch in the right wrist

Lau, yes, that's what I was thinking.

Draglist, they don't let me donate anymore either, spent too much time on a different continent.

yohoyoh my wrists are thinner than the average (I suppose) and my left one is the thinnest so watches fit better in the right

Draglist I also got hepatitis A when I was a child but they told me it was fine to donate

I used to donate regularly, unable to do so now because of some of my medications. Thank you for doing so.

Draglist, yeah I know, when I was younger I could know I was no eligible to donate because of the hep, now it has changed. I think I read if one got it before 11 or 12 years old it's ok to donate. I hope you feel better soon 🙂

What are there rules now? I am O- so technically a universal donor. I wish there was something easier to collect could be that useful.. like pee 😆

I notice that my endurance lacking the day after too. Like that you do it anyway... you do lose weight from the blood loss. Lol

I have donated several times and i still do. Lots of thick veins so no issue. At the donation day and the next day i always feel like i am doped. I can not explain it but i always lift more heavy than usual and i want to work out twice in a day, full body. But for the following 30 to 60 days i feel like crap. No strength, no endurance. It is only those 48 hours that i am supercharged.
