I saw my PCP today. It was very good. She prescribed an inhaler that has a steroid in it to take down this swelling in my sinuses. She gave me a cough syrup with codeine to calm my coughing and congestion. She said I should feel better in a couple of weeks. I have been using a Nebulizer with prescription medicine to open my lungs so I can breathe better. It is a breathing machine to get the medicine down into my lungs. I finally got that issue resolved and I am using the machine. It is working well. I'll be doing a lot better in a couple of weeks and have my energy back. She answered a lot of my questions. I'm very relieved. I'm on my way back to health. Thank you everyone for your prayers and kind words. Very much appreciate you all. You are my FS friends. Blessings to you!

Did she prescribe Breo Elipta? Make sure you rinse your mouth out like Advair. It can cause Thrush just the same. I’m so glad you’re feeling better skinny ♥️🙌 💜💚

Hey JC, I'm not sure of the names of the meds. I haven't looked that close. I just know what they look like so I take them as she directed. The nebulizer has Albuterol. The mouth inhaler also has Albuterol and the nose spray is called fluticasone propionate. I also have cough syrup with codeine. and I take Mucinex to break up the congestion. I have DayQuil and NyQuil and I think that's all the meds I take for the pneumonia

liv & binkie, I am feeling a little better each day. I think in the next week or two I should be over this pneumonia mess. That newest picture I posted was just a few months ago before I got the pneumonia and with no makeup on. Very scary. LOL Normally I wear my oxygen 24/7 but I took it off when the picture was taken and I take it off when I move from from room to room. I'm just looking for a portable now that I can take to the doctor with me. I have a tank that I keep in the van so I can use it while we're driving.
