I feel good about my "first day back" to my healthier lifestyle. I drank a bunch of water today... did really good about not wanting a soda. I was way under my RDI for the day by the time dinner came around, so it was nice to be able to have dinner with my Grandpa and not have to portion control like crazy. My Grandpa makes the best food, but I will have to limit myself to eating at his house once a week. I've tried cooking him healthier options, but he is and always will be a "meat and potatoes" guy. His idea of healthy eating is a salad with TONS of Ranch dressing. Gotta love him!

My goal for tomorrow is to take a walk while I'm on my lunch at work. My friends walk every morning before it gets too hot outside, just gotta take it slow with the sprained ankle. I slowly need to get back into the routine of working out and eating right. With the injury it may be slow at first, but I'm hoping to work out every other day and put the treadmill I have in the basement to good use. Right now it's collecting dust. Poor treadmill, how I've neglected you.

I made some Jello last night so I could have something sweet before bed, but I'm trying not to eat after 8. So I think I'll throw some Crystal Lite in a water bottle and drink that for my sweet craving.
