I just did weight watchers for a long time and was happy with the results but recent events in my family have caused me to start stress eating. I've been going up and down between 5 pounds and need a change. Had success with Atkins in the past but want something a little less strict and I want to be able to eat fruit sometimes. Paleo has been a big success for some of my friends and seems really healthy so I'm going for it. Back to Fatsecret after a year :)

Welcome back to Fatsecret. Because I too was going through so much stress(health, surgery, death of love one, financial insecurity in my line of work) I threw in the towel for a while. But I knew I had to do something. I decided that I could do a no flour, no sugar, and no fried food six days a week. I take Sunday off and eat anything I want. During the week, I eat any fruit I like. I eat cheeses. I drink coffee with regular milk. I eat eggs, meats, cold cut, baked sweet potatoes fries, baked sweet potatoes, steam or saute veggies, corn chips, a big salad with grill steak or chicken on top, brown rice, beans,and I learn like corn tortillas. So far, it is working. I feel great and the weight is coming off. Soon, you too will be seeing good results. Hang in there. It is not easy. But you will get it done.
