TGIF! Even though the weekends are more of a struggle for me than weekdays, I'm feeling good & happy to have a weekend at home. We have dinner plans for tomorrow night with friends, but otherwise a low-key weekend ahead. I'm hoping to catch up on a few more of those "to do's", & am happily getting some finally "to done"!

So, I'll start my weekend in prayer (hope you don't mind, but it feels right to write out the entire prayer today, now that I've actually read, love & need it all... plus its my journal so while I can ask if you mind, of course I can write whatever I'm feeling... the beauty of journaling!) --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

So, for this one day, meal, moment, bite or emotion at a time, I'll pray, breathe, log, post, express & enjoy it! Happy Friday all! xoxox

God Bless - Enjoy your day. Dinner plans for tomorrow night as well. I celebrate one year of tobacco free tomorrow. Nothing at all. No tobacco products of any kind. That is the hardest thing I have ever done. And lost weight at the same time... Yippeeeeeeee.........

No one should mind. I think the key to success in every area of life including health, fitness and weight loss is to keep God first. You are inspiring keep it up! I am looking forward to a great weekend myself and that whatever obstacles come my way, if any, are quenched before they even get a chance to materialize. Hope you all have a great weekend and have great successes in whatever it is you desire to accomplish. :)
