Ok, I am officially bummed. I just realized I have been on this WOE for almost a month and I havent lost anything really. I keep yo-yoing on the scale. I dont get it. I have done Atkins before, the same way I am doing it now, and I am not losing the way I have in the past. I dont know what the deal is. I have a funny feeling I am eating too many calories. I am a small person (if I wanst chubby) and I am thinking the RDI of 1800-1900 might be too high? Every other time I have done the program I ate less calories. I think I will try it for a week and see what happens. I love this WOE and will keep it up, but I wish the weight was coming off. So Frustrated!

Well I think you might already have the answer. Try lowering your calories to around 1500 for the next few weeks and see if it helps you. By all means, if it worked before, try again.

k, are you recording eveything you eat? I looked at your diet calendar, adn one thing I did notice is the surgar free candy. While it is sugar free, it still has sugar alcohols, and they can cause some people to stall. I would try to keep your total carbs under 20, your calories between 1400 and 1700, don't use any sugar free candy or syrups for a week and see what happens. It may be that you are very sensitive to the malitol and other sugar alcohols in those products.

Ok, I will try it, I know I shouldnt have it, but I am such a chocoholic. Might not want to talk to me after a few days of no sugar. hahaha Oh , and i was wondering if any of you folks have more than 1 MIM a day. I am a "after dinner snacker" and instead of having candies, I might try a coffee with a MIM? Something on the sweeter side. I know that jello makes me stall, cause I cant control my urge to eat a half a gallon of whipped cream. I think maybe I will try a week of eating "clean". Get all the junk out of my body. Save the candies for a once a week treat.

What about the shakes? Do they make you stall? It sounds like you are most likely "very sensitive" if you can't eat the jello. But if I am in need of something sweet, I will have an EAS shake. I like these much better than the Atkins ones and seem to do well with them.

If you want something sweet, try the cinnamon-sugar pork rinds with a cup of coffee!! I had it the other night and it was really good!!!

Alright Stef, please tell. How do you make those. I have not tried the pork rinds yet but these sound good.

Yea, any substitute products make me stall. WHOA, just figured out the problem. I forgot about the cinnamon sugar pork rinds! LOVE those. Just need to watch the sugar intake. i love the syrups in my coffee...

The MIMS don't even though they have splenda? Or are you not using splenda in them?

Take some pork rinds and put them in a bowl. Melt some butter in the microwave and pour over the pork rinds. I use about a tablespoon. Then sprinkle a packet of Splenda over the rinds, and then some cinnamon. MMMM they are good. Kl, I don't think that one packet of Splenda will affect you any more than the sugar free syrups, so you should be okay. And it may be that the thing that stalls you is the malitol in SF products, not the art. sweetner.

I dont use as much, cause it has an aftertaste to me. Plus I love the natural sweetness of real butter on a MIM. I am just getting too much extra crap I think.
