Well, sometimes the best laid plans don't happen. When I woke up I knew my EA Sports Active was coming today and I was looking forward to using it when I got home. Then we had a giant thunderstorm. I live 3 miles from work and it took me over 20 minutes to get home between avoiding downed branches, closed roads and power lines down. I thought I was lucky when I came in to find I had power but that lasted all of five minutes.
I'm managing to be online now because I'm tethered through my phone (thankfully I have a very large laptop battery but obviously any kind of wii exercise is out until I get power back. Thankfully my stove is gas so I can cook but it's going to have to be by candlelight until the power goes back on. (While it's still light out here, my kitchen doesn't have a window) I do have various candles going but biking/walking are even going to be tough (and it was still lightening when I came in.)
In other news, the pants I bought less than a month ago are getting really big and I'm currently wearing a shirt that didn't fit me in the last year.
