Starting my day again in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
as I take it one day, meal, bite, moment & emotion at a time.
Feeling stronger each day as I stay my course eating healthfully & mindfully. Trying to especially focus on identifying when I'm truly hungry & eating only until I'm full enough, i.e. feeling better having eaten than I did before. And following my wise angel's way, trying to identify when the rebel inner child is trying to convince me that I'm truly hungry when really she's hungry for something other than food. So, I'm looking at how to comfort her when she's feeling stress, loneliness, anxiety, sadness, etc. And, I thought parenting my boys & now my mother was tough... now I have to parent myself too?!? xoxox
