Next time I’m going to separate the beets and black olives so the stripes are more contrasting. My coworkers thought it was peculiar that I put it in rows, but I like an aesthetic salad. It seems to taste better when it’s pretty.

I agree Wendy, though I'm not skilled at making my dishes picture pretty, I'm always conscious of color and texture when I prepare a meal.
