Don't give up! I read that your body may need take a little longer to get the 'Atkins Edge' everytime you go off and start back up. The first time you were really successful because you were feeding something new to it and it responded. This time may take a little longer to get your fat burn reved up. Don't give up!!!
I started on Atkins 2 1/2 months ago and lost 6 pounds right away. I have stalled here for over a month and have even gained and lost 2 pounds. Very frustrating!!!
Just keep at it and your body will adjust to the new plan since it is not getting the cards it use to and will have to start using your own fat for fuel. Good Luck!

Thanks, its just so frustrating! Losing weight is so hard, too bad its not as easy to lose as it is to gain right?!?! I guess I just want to see faster results...just bummed...

Not sure if this is going to help or not. But, it takes your body 3 days to convert to fat burning (ketosis) when starting a low carb WOE. Anytime you go off plan you can gain the time you are gone up to the 3 days it takes to get back into ketosis. So just one cheat day or even cheat meal can cause you to gain up to those 3 days. We all want it now and it gets frustrating when it doesn't happen that quickly; it's learning how to accept the slow times with the quicker ones that will be the deciding factor on your successes.

Wow! thanks KMartin! That really puts those cheat days/meals into perspective. Well, guess hubby needs to get used to eating at home on his days off. :)

No wonder why I havent lost anything. Last time I only cheated once in 4 weeks. This time I have cheated at least once a week, even if it was only a bite or two. Darn willpower...at least now I know I am doing it to myself. Time to get back on track!
