I don't think my doctor even realized how motivating one of his comments was when I told him I made the decision to get to a healthier weight. "You've already lost 7 pounds just by being aware of what you eat. Don't worry about not starting a rigorous exercise plan right away. As your weight starts to go down, you'll feel better and you'll want to exercise instead of feeling you have to." He's a smart man... and for me, it is turning out that he is absolutely right in his forecast.
